Relaxing with Kurland's new steam treatment

An innovative new heat treatment concept from Kurland offers a way of turning a spa's relaxation zone into a fragrant, enjoyable, paid-for service.

Its Permanent Contour steamed bag system can be used before or after a massage, during a facial, in between treatments and as a stand-alone treatment to help relax muscle tension.

In operation, the portable Permanent Contour unit is filled with water and switched on, with an integrated thermostat ensuring an even temperature.

The chosen bag is then connected to the unit and placed on a client's stomach, back or neck.

Active agents are released and transmitted to the skin through a permeable organza cover, with a special system developed by Haslauer ensuring an even heat and steam distribution in the bottom of the bag.

A choice of three bags is offered - the Moor Mud Bag; the Herb Bag, which contains a mix of herbs including Alpine Hay flowers, Calendula blossoms and Mallow blossoms; and the Swiss Pine Bag.
